I own a MSI GV62 7RD laptop.... Bought on december 2017 and still running fine with no issues ever..... Upgraded the RAM, SSD and also changed the thermal paste last year. Works perfectly and there are no signs of any cracks on the body or discolouration etc. It has a steelseries keyboard and the quality of the keys is fantastic with not even a slight discolouration or loss in tactile feedback till date. As far as build quality goes, MSI is generally a level up when compared to its competitors even if the build is fully plastic.
